welcome to bigoceanuk!
The UK fanbase for Big Ocean - the world's first Deaf/HoH K-POP group. We're here to support their journey, connect fans worldwide, and champion accessibility in music and fandom.
About us
BigOceanUK is the UK fanbase for Big Ocean - the world's first Deaf/Hard of Hearing K-POP group. We focus on accessibility, global fan engagement, and meaningful support projects. Our work has been recognised by both the members and their company, Parastar Entertainment.Founded in April 2024, BigOceanUK is run by three disabled admins who are passionate about K-POP culture, fandom organising, and accessible fan experiences. Alongside our love for Big Ocean, we bring experience in music journalism, liaising with artists and companies, and helping connect fans directly with the artists they support. We believe Big Ocean is paving a new path in K-POP - not just as talented artists, but as powerful advocates for representation. Our goal is to echo their message and support their journey, showing that music is a universal experience that can reach everyone.

#SinkingTo100K – A global campaign inspired by the beauty and emotional depth of PJ’s Sinking performance video, signed entirely in International Sign. More than just a push for views, the project aims to introduce new audiences to Big Ocean through a performance that redefines what accessible music can look like. PADO believes Sinking is a powerful gateway to the group, and we're working to help it reach viewers around the world. The project is supported by 5Oceans Studio and the video’s director, Hiro Noctambule. Check out the video here
